With over a thousand poems in French and English, as well as short stories,
lyrics for recorded
songs and several novels in progress, Marcel Toussaint has accumulated an
impressive body
of work. His most recent publications include “Remember Me Young” (Volumes I and
II) and
“Paris Once More.” His autobiography, “Poetry of a Lifetime,” is scheduled for
release in 2009
by Wildwood Crossings Press, a subsidiary of North America Consulting Group. His
passionate
and perceptive flair for writing has been featured in 14 anthologies.
A multi-linguist of French and Spanish ancestry, Toussaint spent his formative
years nurtured
in the genteel French culture amid the intrigue and enchantment of Mediterranean
living.
Having spent six years in radio-theatre, he relies on the talents he developed
there to delight
audiences in his frequent poetry readings. Toussaint is often asked to perform
at cafes,
libraries, clubs and private events. He currently lives in Missouri.
